Our ethos is to develop, maintain, and enhance the skills of the people we support. And to promote their independence, all of whom have at one time or another lived in a residential care home or an institution setting.
At Ablegrange Supported Living, the people we support are tenants who live in their individual bed-sitting apartment, all of which have their own en-suite shower and wc and a small kitchenette.Our service delivery is focused on a person centered approach.
We provide a range of services to the people we support, from regulated activates; such as personal care ,we facilitate recreational activities in their home and outreach services for them to gain community presence and participation. We also support them to have individual holidays of their choice.

Life at Ablegrange Supported Living is centred on our residents, but there are many people who contribute to making life at the home so unique.
We understand the important contribution that friends and family make to life at the home. As such, there are several private areas that friends and family can spend time together including the small sitting room and the attractive conservatory.
This open culture contributes to the friendly and welcoming atmosphere found at the home.
Meal times are an important aspect of life at Ablegrange Supported Living and they are designed to be flexible and enjoyable.
We use fresh, seasonal ingredients to offer a variety of tasty meals and accommodate dietary requirements as well as individual preferences.
Our Activities Coordinator works closely with residents and relatives to develop a varied programme of activities and events throughout the year, including outings to nearby attractions, plant nurseries, pubs and the local church.

The living accommodation is provided over two floors of two adjoining semi-detached houses. and includes a skills kitchen, 2 sitting cum dining rooms, a conservatory and beautiful gardens with a number of fruits trees and flowering plants.
The bed-sitting apartments are comfortable and well equipped with TV points and wifi access. We encourage personalization of the apartments with items of furniture and treasured belongings.
The houses, 45 and 47 Kingsway are located in a quiet residential street and the bedrooms to the rear overlook are charming gardens and King Edward the 7th park can be seen from the first floor bedrooms.
