Severn Heights were very pleased to open their doors to the community and welcome visitors to their free annual, summer fete.
Located in The Old Hills, they welcomed guests, family and friends to enjoy an afternoon of fun and entertainment at the 30-bed home, which was formerly a country house.
Guests young and old were treated to traditional afternoon tea, a sweet stall, pony petting and outdoor games both inside the home and within its six-acre grounds. There was also a buffet, raffle, tombola and fruit stall, fresh from the homes fruit trees.
Sue Jones, Severn Heights Care Manager, said: “It was lovely to see so many visitors and for them to be able to look around our home, and the beautiful gardens that overlook the Worcestershire countryside.
“It’s really important that our residents are able to maintain links with their local community and they really enjoyed seeing lots of new faces.”
During the fete, Severn Height’s plans for the new extension were on display and the home is looking to start the construction in spring 2018.
